Offering Map and Personas

Re-Made in Milan is a service system with the aim to empower unemployed citizens by teaching them a new job and at the same time allow them collaborate to the city wellness. By collecting and remaking old furniture, we turn it into a valuable resource, then we can give the unemployed handyman a second job and also help other institutions. A creative new furniture brand and image made of the refurbished products helps to guarantee a visibility, a certification of granny.

In order to validate the concept and gather useful insights from the community, we had a co-design session with the citizens of Milan. We design some activities in order to understand citizens' perception of refurbished furniture price, different personas' purchasing habits and the role of different selling channels (digital and physical). This moments had a deep value in the process since it helped to gather real insights in order to improve the service.

The refurbished pieces of furniture by the handymen are part of a branded collection Re-Mi, Re-Made in Milan. The aim of the informations about are both to show the piece of furniture's story, both the handyman's who made it. in addition the designer who collaborated, the FabLab and the Brianza's workplace are illustrated on the digital and the physical channels.
